Bonuses are generated on your account when we have reviewed and verified the video you submitted and forwarded it to the police.

Cashback will be paid out over time after legislative adjustments take effect. Currently, we are developing our own bonus system. Stay updated on the project's latest developments through Facebook and Instagram.

For each report of your submitted videos, you can track the status through different labels: "sent," "rejected," or "under police review."

We go through submitted videos on a daily basis, though occasionally, it might take a bit more time.

Indeed, the license plate number of the car can be recognized automatically. While reviewing recorded videos with violations, you can pause the video and zoom in on the license plate image. It will be automatically displayed in the report. All you need to do is verify that it's correctly identified and then select the appropriate violation type.

Below the status of the reports on the Video List screen, you'll find comments with explanations as to why your video was rejected.
All reports are submitted on behalf of the NGO. Personal data cannot not be disclosed to either the offender or the police.
Right now, the application is in a testing phase, and we mostly get police responses in written format, which makes it pretty challenging to keep track of each application. But looking ahead, once we're integrated into the police system, we'll be able to provide real-time automatic updates on the statuses. What's more, the cashback reward from the fines paid will serve as undeniable proof that the offender has indeed settled the penalty ticket.
Despite our focus of developing is concentrated on drivers, pedestrians can also record videos using the test version of the application.

It's not possible to upload and submit dashcam videos to the police through our application. Videos recorded on your dashcam we can only recommend to submit personally. If you need assistance in filing a report, you can reach out to our support service @dashcamUaSupport on Telegram.

The videos in our application are not just regular clips - our video is protected from any manipulations and also consist of meta-data of geolocation tag, date, and time. All this protected information can be used as evidence in court. Since we are confident in the authenticity of the information obtained through our application, we, as an NGO, can submit reports to the Police on our behalf and monitor the police's actions with our lawyers.
If a driver holds the device and records videos while driving, he puts himself and others in danger. We do not accept such videos. Only videos taken with a phone placed in a holder or a cradle are accepted. This rule does not apply to pedestrians and passengers - they can record videos holding phones in their hands.

Yes, you can! We've specifically optimized the app so that while your phone is actively recording the road, you can also open other apps like navigation on your car's display through CarPlay or Android Auto. It's important to note that due to privacy settings enforced by both Apple and Google, your phone's camera can't capture video in the background, which means that other apps can't run simultaneously when the camera is recording. In most cases, there shouldn't be any interference between your phone and CarPlay/Android Auto. However, in certain situations where there might be compatibility issues between your phone's operating system and your car's CarPlay version, you may experience a loss of sound. This means that after tapping your phone's screen, your music stream or radio may go silent. This only happens when the sound permission is enabled. If you choose to disable the sound permission in your settings, your music will continue uninterrupted, but you'll lose the Car Crash Detection feature in our app. We will attempt to address the issue of sound loss with Apple and Google just like a number of other developers did, although the likelihood of a response from them on this issue is quite slim.

We strongly advise against making phone calls while driving. In today's world, using your phone is a major distraction for drivers even with the use of hands-free. It is one of the leading causes of car crashes. If you must make a call, you would need to remove your phone from its holder and exit the app, which means that no video will be recorded during the call. The same scenario applies to incoming phone calls – they will disrupt the functioning of the dashcam application. The app cannot run concurrently with any other application on your phone, including handling phone calls. Please be a responsible driver and avoid making or taking phone calls while behind the wheel and keep your phone in the holder.

You can connect almost any bluetooth button to our app - even the one you have on your selfie stick (which is usually not in use and just laying around on some of your shelves) Connection is easy and fast.

  1. Open "Connected Devices" and tap "Pair New Device".
  2. Press and hold your Bluetooth button until LED light starts blinking. It should now appear in the list.
  3. Tap it to pair. That's it.
